From SpiderWiki
Jump to: navigation, search

UCS is awesome but parts of it are pants. For example when you are trying to configure a server to boot from an iSCSI disk and something is wrong you'll get the oh so helpful error on boot of "error 1"

You can connect to the ucs manager via SSH and get more details.

  • SSH to the UCS Manager the hosts the server.

Connect to the Adapter in the form Chassis/Server/VIC Adapter For example for Chassis 1 Server 5 (VIC adapter will usually be 1 unless two are installed)

connect Adapter 1/5/1
